Tilikum Crossing: O'Neill's high-wire act electrifies Portland's newest bridge


Check out OregonLive's excellent story on O'Neill project foreman Camilo Marquez. Camilo was with the bridge at the very beginning in 2011, touching its first piece of steel. He soldered the first grounding wires into place and, over four years, wrestled 10 miles of wiring through rebar and along girders, testing every connection before it was encased in concrete.
